McDonald’s has been known to bring out special menus inspired by local flavours, and their new Singapore menu is absolutely killing tastebuds everywhere.

There’s currently four new additions, and mothersite.sg has got their hands on the goodies.

Twist & Shake Fries with Salt & Pepper Crab-flavoured Shaker

The wildly popular shaker fries makes a return, this time in a distinctly Singaporean twist, usually found in Black Pepper Crab. These are not just shaker fries, but also twister fries.

If you thought the seaweed shaker fries were the bomb, you should definitely keep an eye out for these fries.

Banana Pie

Consider it McDonald’s homage to the humble goreng pisang. Though the Banana Pie is a less oily version, it definitely doesn’t hold back on the flavour.

McDonald’s has opted for the classic apple pie formula: golden flowy filling, encased by a crispy exterior.

Gula Melaka McFlurry with Layer Cake Bites

Now this is dessert done right. If we had a Singaporean dessert list like we did for KL, this would be at the top for sure.

It’s a Gula Melaka McFlurry with Layer Cake Bites. What it lacks for in an original snappy name (what a mouthful of a name), it makes up for in it’s mind-blowing flavours.  Think velvety vanilla soft serve, swirled into thick gula melaka flavoured syrup, and dotted with delicious kueh lapis bits.

….and lastly but definitely not the least!!…..

Salted Egg Yolk Chicken Burger

Salted Egg Yolk anything is a sure hit here in humble South-East Asia. It’s been popping up everywhere in bakeries across the nation and the causeway. So why stop at cronuts and croissants???

The Salted Egg Yolk Chicken Burger looks like something only a Singaporean hipster cafe could dream of. McDonald’s has thrown in curry leaves for that extra crunch. This definitely delivers according to mothership.sg, and will give local hawker peddlers of salted egg yolk anything a run for their money!

All the above items will be available from 30 June 2016, while stocks last.

So, RUN, RUN MALAYSIAN FOLKS. RUN TO THE CAUSEWAY AND BE FREE (and enslave yourselves to a bucketload of calories)!
