Man Thought He Married ‘Lovely’ Sabahan Wife Only to Find Out She’s a Fake

Love is hard and for most of us, finding Mr or Mrs Right to marry is a quest that doesn’t seem to get any easier. For Tang, a 31 year old mechanical engineer from Kulim thought that he had married the perfect woman, only to find out that it was all fake.

He thought that his wife, 26-year-old Chen who originated from Penampang, Sabah was a kind and lovely woman and had married the love of his life until she ran away. To add insult to injury, she left him with huge debts and even stole from him, The Star reported.
Tang, who works in Lahat said that he wasn’t aware until banks began calling him to pay outstanding credit card bills which amounted to RM40,000 last October. He was also devastated as Chen had stolen RM60,000 worth of valuables and cash before running away in December.

That’s not all, he had also helped her take out a personal loan of RM20,000 as she told him that her family needed the money for some business matters. It turns out that he was not the first victim as he discovered that Chen had cheated three other men for their money before they got together in 2014. He had checked the luggage he left at home and found that she had several credit cards under other people’s names. Oh dear!
Tang, who had married Chen in 2016 said that he never suspected a thing. “I never suspected anything wrong with her. She seemed like a good person as she often donated to charity. I trusted her and gave her two supplementary credit cards. I even let her handle the payment for the credit card bills,” he explained.

He said Chen had run away since December as that was the last time he saw her and she was now uncontactable. He met with Chen’s family, who told him that they had not needed the personal loan. “In October, she told me she would be working with her mother’s granite company in Kuala Lumpur. Since then, she only came home twice. The last time I saw her was in December where she gave me a bounced cheque,” he added.
He says he has nothing to do with any other future loans she takes and wants her to come back to settle the debt with banks as well as returning his money.

Poor Tang! Hopefully he will be able to get back his money! And you think you know someone huh.
