Good Vibes Festival Pre-Party
First up, we have the Pre-Party to the biggest music festival in Malaysia that’s looked forward to annually by all the yung-sters, ….drumroll please…. Good Vibes Festival! Well, this pre-party will be held at Dragonfly KL on the 19th of July, and it starts at 9pm till late. DJ Goldfish will be there to spin tunes all night, y’all! I mean, it’s the IT festival for music lovers, fashionistas and influencers all over Malaysia, featuring a slew of amazing international artists and the very best local talent. So if you want to see and be seen, Good Vibes is the place to go! Unfortunately, tickets are now sold out, but you can still try your luck by joining some contests. If worse comes to worst, you just gotta buy some passes off a trusted friend! Don’t fall victim for scams if you don’t get those tickets guys, there will always be a next time.
Bon Odori 2019
This is the 43rd year that the Japan Club of Kuala Lumpur will be hosting a Bon Odori Festival! The Obon or Bon is a Japanese custom to honour the spirits of one’s ancestors. Don’t worry, there will be no actual praying of any sort as it is just a cultural event. There will be loads and loads of food, and dances throughout the festival that you can join, it’s really easy! Lots of people dress up in yukatas as well and that makes a really beautiful sight to behold. If you didn’t manage to get your Good Vibes tickets, this will be fun too!
Malaysia Coffee Fest 2019
Having a quarter-life crisis? Thinking of opening up a new hipster cafe in Damansara? Or maybe you’re just a barista that is really passionate about your job? Well, this event is for you! At the Malaysian Coffee Fest, there will be giveaways, lucky draws and special rates on products. There will also be a few championships for them experts. Smells interesting!

While doing the community a favour by picking up rubbish at Lepoh Falls, you can also enjoy the beautiful untouched surroundings. This hike is even suitable for kids under the age of 12, so it might be a very good chance to show them nature in all its glory. After all the rubbish picking is done, all volunteers can enjoy a refreshing dip in the waterfall area.
