The final Harry Potter book was released in 2000 but Potter heads remain steadfast and loyal to their fandom. The wizarding world was given a breath of fresh air especially with the release of the movie Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them as well as the play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
Well, lately a cafe in Singapore is taking the world by storm with its magical drinks, even making international news!
For fans of the beloved series, you can truly experience the magic at a Harry Potter-inspired cafe located just at our neighbouring country!
The place called ‘Platform 1094’ has quietly opened its doors about 2 months ago and it is the perfect place to go when you feel like escaping to the world of wizardry wonder.
People worldwide are amazed at their most popular creation, “The Goblet Of Fire” – which is made from blue Curacao liqueur, lemonade and Bacardi rum.
Your server will set it on fire and you’ll take on a role of a Potions master by sprinkling it with cinnamon for a truly bewitching experience. Remember to have your cameras at the ready to capture this enchanting spectacle!
The cafe’s decor is warm and cosy, where wooden tables, floors and walls are the main theme. Little touches of the Potter world can be seen in the candelabra hanging from the ceiling which gives off a rather magical glow while the chairs are decorated with deer designs which is reminiscent of either Prongs, Harry’s Patronus or even both.
The tables are adorned with candles and even the menus are made from pieces of wooden board and printed with the trademark lightning font that all Potter fans are sure to recognize.
In addition, Platform 1094 provides awesome props for you to capture that perfect Instagram-worthy photo. Don the witch hat, grab your favourite wand and prepare to pose to your heart’s content. The food is sure to satisfy any aspiring witch or wizard, as the cafe serves Western fare, delightful desserts and spellbinding drinks complete with fascinating names to fit in with the theme of the place.
Order dishes such as Giant’s Breakfast, Black Magic and Bloodberry. However, the star of the menu has got to be the Goblet of Fire drink
Looks super amazing doesn’t it?
